Adam Frisch, ΨΔ '90, Elected to Aspen City Council

Adam Frisch, ΨΔ '90, was recently elected to serve on the Aspen City Council. His campaign primarily focused on the issues of affordable housing, land use planning and financial sustainability and accountability, issues that he looks forward to working for throughout his term in office.

A full-time Aspen resident since 2003, Frisch has deep and diverse roots in the community. His extensive financial experience led to his appointment to the City's Housing Frontiers Group, whose mission is to study strategic issues facing Aspen's affordable housing program. In addition, for the past six years, he has chaired the Financial Advisory Board for Pitkin County. He has also served on the boards of several local non-profits, including Aspen Youth Experience.

Frisch and his wife, Katy, have a five-year old son and three-year old daughter, and Frisch is an active participant in many of Aspen's local endurance races.

Frisch was active in Alpha Psi Delta and graduated from University of Colorado - Boulder in 1990 with a bachelor of arts in economics and minors in art history and political science.

In 2009, Frisch ran for Aspen City Council, coming out a few dozen votes short of winning a seat, making this win all the more rewarding for him and all of his supporters.
