#23 Commissions Stained Glass Artwork for Jeffrey Hall

In 2007, the Chi Psi Central Office moved to Nashville, Tennessee’s Sobro neighborhood atop Rutledge Hill. The building, which first appeared on the 1890 census, was named Jeffrey Hall in honor of one of Chi Psi’s most well-represented families (eleven Chi Psis since 1895) who sponsored the purchase for The Chi Psi Educational Trust, Inc. Jeffrey Hall boasts fifteen foot ceilings and nine antique doors with functional transoms. In March 2011, the Executive Director commissioned a stained glass interpretation of Chi Psi’s Badge for one of these transoms, and the piece was delivered to Jeffrey Hall on April 25.

The artist, John Bruno of Nashville, has over a fifteen years of professional experience with glass and other craftsmanship. If you have thoughts or ideas on how the Central Office can further this opportunity for Jeffrey Hall, please contact #23 Sam Bessey at

Still looks suspiciously like an Oregon "O" to me! I presume I don't need to remind the staff that Ultimate Frisbee and lacrosse practices are no longer allowed indoors.
