Founders' Day, May 20^th, is a celebrated date in Chi Psi history. It was on this day in 1841 that Chi Psi was founded at Union College with the establishment of Alpha Pi. Founders' Day has been a time for Chi Psi alumni and undergraduates alike to gather and celebrate our Bonds of Brotherhood. On this day, we also celebrate our annual National Day of Giving!

Day of Giving is our biggest fundraising day every year. We have three easy giving options that will offer you the flexibility to support Chi Psi in the most familiar format for you:

2. Mail to the Central Office at 45 Rutledge St., Nashville, TN 37210

3. Join the 5-Year Challenge if you're an undergraduate or young alumnus

In 2024, we are holding an Alpha Giving Competition as part of Day of Giving. The highest-raising Alpha will have an amount equal to 75% of the total given by their Alpha granted to their Alpha's Dedicated Fund (DF). Next highest will have 50%, and the third-highest will get 25%. So, for example, if the highest-raising Alpha on Day of Giving donates $10,000 in Annual Fund gifts, their DF would receive $7,500 as a prize. Additionally, the Alpha that gives the most individual gifts will receive a $1,000 gift to its DF.

For a Day of Giving gift to quality for the Alpha Giving Competition, it must be at least $17 and be given to the unrestricted Annual Fund of the Trust (check your designation on the giving page if giving online).
