Nashville, TN – Chi Psi Fraternity Executive Director Sam Bessey will transition to a new role within the Central Office (Chi Psi’s national headquarters). His new focus will be on development and advancement of the Fraternity from a fundraising perspective, and his title will become Chief Advancement Officer (CAO).

A search committee led by members of the Executive Council of Chi Psi Fraternity and The Chi Psi Educational Trust will convene to begin the search for a new Executive Director in 2022. Chi Psi encourages any Brother who wishes to apply for the job to do so by contacting co@chipsi.org with a formal cover letter and resume. A full job description can be found at www.chipsi.org/23.

After 20 years of devoted service to Chi Psi as its Executive Director, Brother Bessey has made the decision to step away from that role and focus his efforts on development. A new hire will be made in the spring of 2022 and formally installed at the 181st Annual Convention in July.
