William L. Warren, M '88, Educational Trust Trustee

Bill lives in Atlanta, GA, and is a partner in the law firm Eversheds Sutherland. Bill is Co-Chair of the firm’s global Biotechnology and Life Sciences team, and previously led the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. He prosecutes patents, counsels clients on patent validity and infringement issues, and prepares product clearance opinions and product development strategies, among other duties.

For more than two decades, Bill has worked with clients ranging from multinational corporations to early-stage entrepreneurial companies, to nonprofit university and science research centers. Bill did his undergraduate work at Middlebury College, received an M.S. in Molecular Genetics at George State, and earned his M.B.A. and J.D. degrees at Emory University.
