Samuel C. Bessey, HΔ ’97, Executive Director (#23), Spencer Properties President, Treasurer of Berkeley Holdings, LLC and Oxford Holdings, LLC

Originally from San Francisco, Sam lives in Nashville, TN with his wife, Meg, and two kids, Ashtyn and Matthew. He has been on staff at the Central Office since July of 1998 when he served as Alpha Visitor for the 1998-1999 school year. He then served as Development Director for three years before becoming #23 and joining the Executive Council in April 2002. His responsibilities include Chi Psi’s development initiatives, strategic and annual business planning, financial management, and the Fraternity’s national housing corporation, Spencer Properties. Sam is on the board of directors for Camp Marymount, a Catholic summer camp in Fairview, TN and is a member of the Rotary Club of Nashville. He is also very active with Christ Church Cathedral in Nashville, serving in a number of different volunteer roles.
