ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION

This a part-time, hourly position that will provide services essential to the operation of the Chi Psi Central Office. We anticipate the position to average 25 hours/week. Starting mid-June 2020. Compensation commensurate with education and expertise.

Essential duties or functions:

Administrative: Manage day-to-day administrative duties for the Central Office including, but not limited to processing mail, office management, filling merchandise orders, donor acknowledgments, and data entry.

Member Relations: Serving as a liaison to local chapters to process new members, maintain undergraduate and alumni officer records, order and distribute membership materials, and distribute materials for scheduled educational programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with one to three years of experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Greek experience or knowledge preferred.

Effective Communication: possesses strong oral and written communication skills.

Technical Skills: high level of proficiency with use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), database software and the internet.
