The chief legislative power of the Fraternity rests with the Annual Convention, which is made up of delegates from all of the Alphas, Alpha corporations, and recognized Regional Alumni Associations. The first Convention was held in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1845. Although Chi Psi cannot take credit for the first fraternity convention, our annual gathering is one of the oldest and most traditional events in the fraternity world. Since its inception in 1845, four years after Chi Psi’s founding, the Convention has met every year except for 1847 and a three-year interim during World War II.
The 173rd Annual Convention will be held in Nashville, TN, home of the Chi Psi Central Office, from July 23-26. Make plans to attend!
