The Central Office has received and flown the University of Illinois flag in recognition of the most recent national championship at a Chi Psi school. The Brothers of Zeta Delta presented the flag pictured at right to the Fraternity in honor of the University of Illinois men's NCAA college Gynmastics Championship win.

Trailing No. 1 Oklahoma by more than two points with only two rotations remaining, Illinois came back to take the national title, the team's first since 1989.

As part of a tradition started in 2010, the Central Office flies the flag of a host institution that wins a national championship and takes a photo of it flying at Jeffrey Hall. A digital image is sent to the Alpha and is posted at www.chipsi.org.

Alphas in a position to participate should send a 3' x 5' flag to Jeffrey Hall, 45 Rutledge Street, Nashville, Tennessee 37210. Alpha Zeta Delta is the fifth to take advantage of this new Chi Psi tradition.
