Robert K.
Windsor, Eta ’55, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012 in Sandusky, OH following
a short battle with cancer. Chi Psi’s twelfth
#23 (Executive Director) served the Central Office from 2000-2002. Bob brought
a high degree of professionalism to the position and took great pride in being
the first Bowdoin alumnus to serve our beloved Fraternity as #23. After a
thirty-year career managing not-for-profit organizations, Bob used his extensive
business experience to stabilize the operations of the Fraternity and Trust. He
was instrumental in moving the Central Office to its current home in Nashville,
Tenn. "Bob was a
wonderful mentor and dedicated Chi Psi. Much of the success Chi Psi enjoys in
2012 is a result of the operational procedures Bob implemented during his
tenure as the Executive Director,” says #23 Sam Bessey. He adds, "We are all
grateful for his significant contributions to Chi Psi. He will be missed.” A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in
Philadelphia on May 19, 2012 at 10:30 am. More information will be posted as it becomes available from the family.
