Northwestern University Flag Continues to Fly at the Central Office
The Central Office continues to fly a Northwestern University flag in recognition of the most recent national championship at a Chi Psi school. The above pictured flag not only honors the school's National Championship Debate Team. It now also honors Northwestern's win in the NCAA women's lacrosse championship.
The 8-7 victory over top-ranked Maryland gives Northwestern's women's lacrosse team its sixth national championship in only seven years. The game was a repeat match-up of last year's championship, but this time Northwestern came out on top of the defending champions at Maryland.
The Central Office flies the flag of a host institution that wins a national championship and takes a photo of it and Jeffrey Hall. A digital image is sent to the Alpha and is posted at www.chipsi.org. Alphas in a position to participate should send a 3' x 5' flag to Jeffrey Hall, 45 Rutledge Street, Nashville, Tennessee 37210. Begun in 2010, Alpha Epsilon Delta is the third to take advantage of this new Chi Psi tradition.
