This past fall, the Brothers of Alpha Chi Delta showed their school pride and passion for community service while raising money for The ALS Association South Carolina Chapter.
It took 18 Brothers more than 10 hours to clean Clemson’s Memorial Stadium after a football game, but the Brothers were able to collect $900 in donations during the cleanup effort. In addition to the donations collected, Brothers contributed $100 on their own to bring the total to $1,000.
ALS is commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease and currently affects 30,000 Americans and their loved ones. The ALS Association works to fund innovative research and provide those living with this debilitating disease with compassionate care and support. The Brothers of Alpha Chi Delta were excited to support such a great cause while helping to beautify the Clemson University campus.
