Psi Delta Colony Ranks
#1 Academically
After its first semester, Psi Delta
Colony’s GPA ranks #1 of all fraternities at the University of Colorado,
Boulder, with a term GPA of 3.14. This
performance is far above the all men’s average of 2.88.
Psi Delta Colony is off to a strong
start. In its first semester, Colonists
have shown rapid growth intellectually, morally and socially, and made it clear
that they are building a truly premier leadership organization at CU. With 25 Colonists, they have engaged several
service groups with partnerships to serve the community, and built
relationships with many other Greek organizations on campus.
Colonists have been trained to
dynamically recruit year-round, and the Colony’s recruitment chairman even
spent a weekend in Seattle with recruitment chairmen from Alpha Delta Delta and
Alpha Eta Delta learning about Alpha Theta Delta’s excellent recruitment
practices. The Colony extends its thanks
to the Brothers of Alpha Theta Delta for being great hosts. Colony recruitment chairmen are engaged in an
intensive summer recruitment program geared toward securing the majority of the
fall pledge class before classes start.
As we write, 5 men have already accepted bids to join the fall 2010
pledge class.
Colony members look forward to the
Annual Convention in Seattle and, with it, the opportunity to develop
relationships with other Alphas and to continue their development as young Chi
Psi men.
