The Central Office has received its first collegiate flag in recognition of a national championship. The Brothers of Alpha Sigma Delta at Duke University purchased the flag pictured above and presented it to the Fraternity in honor of Duke's 2010 NCAA National Championship Men's Basketball Team. Alumni Board President Nick Superina, Sigma Delta `03, polled his alumni and undergraduate Brothers to determine which school flag to send. They chose a style that represents the University; not its athletic programs in particular. During their deliberations, the Duke Men's Lacrosse team also earned 2010 national championship honors, so this picture recognizes both achievements. Congratulations Duke!
The Central Office flies the flag of a host institution that wins a national championship and takes a photo of it and Jeffrey Hall. A digital image is sent to the Alpha and is posted at http://www.chipsi.org/. Alphas in a position to participate should send a 3' x 5' flag to Jeffrey Hall, 45 Rutledge Street, Nashville, Tennessee 37210. Begun in 2010, Alpha Sigma Delta is the first to take advantage of this new Chi Psi tradition.
